    major Antichrist vibes

“The supreme religious deception, according to the church, will be the Antichrist’s messianism: mankind glorifying himself rather than God and Jesus.”

Isn’t this an antichrist thing? I’m not a Christian but isn’t that a part of their whole thing? Seems like they should get that before me, an atheist, gets it

The antichrist is supposed to trick Christians into supporting him, so that tracks.

He’s also supposed to survive an assassination attempt with a headwound.

If Christians are stupid enough to follow the dumbest antichrist in all of existence then they deserve what they get.

Honestly, I’d be somewhat relieved if there were a supernatural explanation for how they were tricked into supporting Trump. Because Christ made a very clear list on how people would be judged in Matthew 25 31-46 (“The Judgement of the Nations”)

          1. Treatment of the poor

          2. Treatment of the sick

          3.Treatment of the foreigner

          1. Treatment of the imprisoned

This nation isn’t doing great by that measurement.

They WANT the end of times to come, so the Antichrist would actually be a good thing to them as he heralds that.

Oh, I’m still telling Carney to go fuck himself right to hell. He’s softer on trump than 10-ply toilet paper and most of the things he says correctly come a few days after his gut reaction to be a shit-heel. He’s slightly better about the US and Israel’s attacks but when they first started he promised to “unconditionally support” the US. Anything he says can’t really be agreed with because none of it is coming from a true moral highground. It’s hard agree with his words they carry no weight and are mostly lies.

The similarity between Trump and Jesus is the idea of ‘praise and worship me or you will be punished’.

If you depict yourself as Christ, don’t be surprised when people nail your ass to a cross.

Trump is an antichrist (not the definitive article, but the type of person described in the Bible). It really can’t get any clearer at this point.

Nah. The Antichrist is expected to broker a peace treaty with Israel and its enemies if you look at Daniel 9:27.

That ain’t our Mango Mussolini. He’s a petulant toddler who throws a tantrum when he doesn’t get his way. Trump couldn’t negotiate a wooden tent spike from his own asshole.

It’s not the end of the world. It’s Israeli genocide (what a difference 84 years makes, huh?) and Iran trolling an orange dipshit for funsies. That’s it.

Oh, I know that the Antichrist (the definitive article) signs an agreement with Israel (that’s what starts off the 7-year Tribulation, if I recall correctly). Trump hasn’t done that, nor does he meet a couple of other specific requirements, so I don’t consider him to be the Antichrist (note the uppercase).

That said, he’s definitely consistent with many of the attributes and I think meets the definition of an antichrist (lowercase) - hence why I said he’s that type of person.

The folks who wrote that book of the Bible probably has Nero in mind when they wrote it. But there have been narcissistic assholes since the beginning of time, and it’s no accident that many of the descriptions of Nero from 2000 years ago also fit Trump.

I agree. I think one of the arguments for the amillennial view is that it was talking about the Roman Emperor of the time.

The conclusion that Christians want the Antichrist shows just how deranged American evangelicals have become from a Christian perspective.

I’d say only the idiotic ones who believe in a pre-Tribulation Rapture would want that. It really makes me wonder how many “Christians” have actually read the Bible they claim to believe (and how many would be those told “Depart from me, for I never knew you” Matt. 7:23).

In my experience, Christianity is pretty divided over “End Times” worldviews - amillennial (no literal millennium, which usually says that there is no literal Tribulation either and so Antichrist isn’t as much of a threat) vs. premillennial (we’re living prior to a literal millennial reign of Christ on Earth, and there is a specific individual who will be the Antichrist and hold power during the 7-year Tribulation). Within the latter it gets even messier - rapture or no rapture? Ezekiel’s War prior to the Tribulation or during it?

Whilst one can argue for the Rapture from the Bible, it’s definitely not as clear-cut as the Antichrist or Tribulation period - so if it were me, I would not be in an hurry to usher in the reign of the Antichrist especially when he will hunt down and execute Christians during the Tribulation.

I love how he’s doing the highest form of Christian sacrilege so close to Easter. In fact, he’s doing it on Eastern Orthodox Easter…

    I have some questions:

    • What does the hat of the guy in the left say? Pe…?
    • What type of warped fighter jets are in the top right?
    • Did one of the soldier angels get his head blown off, only for it be replaced with the crown of the statue of liberty?
