This is totally it. They are preparing JD to take over the party after Trump, but it’s hard to do that when he’s married to the exact type of person the base dislikes.

Unfortunately the major outlets that claim to be more left are really just right wing lite, and at the end of the day they are still part of the propaganda machine.

The right wing media is just waiting for the handful of police reports to come in from the weekend to fixate upon, and talk about non stop, so they can make that “violent uprising” a reality for their viewers.

Leaving the house is overrated. Besides there are other people out there. Who wants to deal with that?

I have a few cops in my extended family and I can guarantee you they love what is happening right now and can’t wait for the national guard to be in their backyard.

When my kid was going for her prosthetics the prosthetist said most finger prosthetics are for aesthetic purposes. Depending on your specific needs there might be options for you, and DIYers have made some impressive prototypes, but they all have their pros and cons. I think the Hero Hand is a pretty impressive option, but it is really expensive and some folks might have trouble getting insurance to cover it. Plus for kids the more expensive and complicated prosthetics aren’t great options as they tend to break them and lose parts. I was told that most folks with a partial hand, due to birth defect or amputation, choose to just work around it rather than wear a prosthetic.

Most of us just like the day off from work, or the holiday pay if you have to work. and that’s where it ends.

I bought a refrigerator from Best Buy about 7 years ago and when it arrived it came with cockroaches. For days after the fridge was delivered I’d find dead roaches on the floor or see them scamper away when I turned on the light. So I bought a big bag of boric acid powder and lightly sprinkled that stuff around the kitchen floor leaving a nice thin dusty coat on the tile. After three days I vacuumed up the powder and I never saw another roach again.

You ain’t kidding. Looking forward to that final break.

I agree they are selfish but I’d be cautious assuming they are stupid. That is how we got where we are today. We assumed their stupidity and incompetence would be their undoing but the past 9 years have shown us that assumption was wrong.

It’s not that they are stupid they just don’t care about being a hypocrite.

Unfortunately at this moment in time it seems to be that way.

This machine pulls in 36,000 tons of carbon per year, our average carbon output is about 36 billion tons per year, so you’d need to build a million of these to offset our current output.

Reversing the last century of emissions is interesting because we would likely have to carefully monitor and adjust how much we pull in as we go along because any dramatic changes could have serious climate consequences.

I have the same thing except it’s my dad. I’ve been able to become lucid on occasion when it happens and it’s like I get to hang out with my dad again. I have yet to tell him he is dead in the real world when it does occur. I’m afraid of what will happen if I do.

If this was a Tales from the Crypt episode chances would be 100%!
