You see masked people with guns don’t engage with them or ask for ID. That’s dangerous for you, and it’s not your job.
Instead, immediately call 911 and report a group of masked individuals with guns at your location.

It’s a failure, yes, but they did complete 65 miles of fence. Just not all in one spot.
They basically built some free fences for a few ranchers who took advantage of the opportunity.
I love UUs. Their existence is so weird.
Lots of denominations have split or merged through the years. For instance the Methodists split from the Episcopalians and later merged with the United Brethren to form the United Methodist Church, which very recently split into the Global Methodist (hates gay people) and United Methodist (gay is OK).
But the thing that’s different about the UUs is that the Unitarians were a Christian denomination and the Universalists were not. It’s a merger of Christian and a non-Christian sects that worked out really well.
It’s neat.
Good luck finding a decent lawyer to argue against this plaintiff.
He’d never get his screen time back in that case.
He will never, ever apologize for anything he does.
They ain’t “trying” shit. It’s done.
I loved how they handled the concept of a feminine hero in the sequel.
Ripley is the hero, but there’s also Vasquez - the badass marine. Vasquez is what so many people tried to do to make women heroic in action films.
She’s just an action hero that happens to be a woman. And she’s great. But her character isn’t classically “feminine.”
Meanwhile Ripley is all woman. Her iconic badass moment (“Get away from her you bitch!”) is the action climax of the film, and its also when she’s being her most feminine. Her heroism didn’t carry an asterisk saying she’s a badass despite her sex.
She’s not sexy, not vulnerable, not emulating a stereotypical man’s role in combat. She’s all-woman and all-badass.
The administration needed protests that weren’t peaceful. So they supplied the violence.
Last time we fought fascism we allied with lots of adversaries to take down the larger threat. I’m down for doing that again.
How?
Federal taxes don’t pass through California on the way to the feds.
Yeah, but running for President when you aren’t eligible for the office for fomenting rebellion really is a crime.
I’m not going to get over it. Hundreds of thousands of people are already dying from this motherfucker’s actions, he’s announced plans to entirely remove all Palestinians forever to build fucking resorts. He’s disappearing people and arresting judges. He deployed the military against protesters.
We knew all of this would happen. He said he’d be a dictator starting day 1 and would devote his administration to revenge against his political opponents.
Bet you still chose not to vote against this. You actively chose this outcome. There’s blood on your hands, and you don’t get to wash it off.
Not voting for the Dems WAS voting for fascism in 2024.
Harris’s stance on Israel.was bad. You know who is much, much worse? The person assholes like you empowered by throwing away your vote. And yo7 do this all the fucking time.
If 1% of the Green Party voters in Florida in 2000 had voted for Gore, Bush would never have been President, and all the bullshit that’s resulted from that nightmare wouldn’t have happened, and the country wouldn’t have shifted to the right.
Doesn’t the California National Guard report to the Governor?
The bill ends the carbon offset income that’s the largest portion of Tesla’s income. Combined with their sales being in the toilet because everybody hates him, and the company very well may not survive.
Exactly what everyone expected would happen is happening.
The 2 egomaniacs are sick of each other and lashing out.
Give them an inch, and they’ll disappear people to a concentration camp on foreign soil without charges.
Never bend to a fascist.
My Dad was a firefighter fpr 35 years, and his go-to line when someone wanted help gettong a cat down was, “Have you ever seen a cat skeleton in a tree?”
I still mess up my sister’s spouse. They’re NB, but kept their name, hobbies, etc. To me, they’re the exact same awesome person they’ve always been, so I still screw up and call them by male pronouns.
I 100% support them, but I screw up and it feels bad.
At 50 million dollars a mile spent on shitty fences, I think we’re a long way from half-full.
