This is the most incompetent, incoherent war America has fought in the last 100 years. And that’s saying a lot. This administration has no idea what they are doing. There is no viable war plan. They change their goals and their aims every single day.

I have great sympathy for our soldiers and our military leaders. They are being given directions by a senile old man who is losing his mind. And so, it’s no surprise that this war is going horribly.

Intellectually/spiritually/financially impoverished slaves conditioned to be as abusive as the system that reared them and still provides them their “necessities”. I like to think of imperialists as semi-conscious children with serious behavioral disorders+no early-life training for how to interact in non-hostile ways with other beings, who have been convinced by lead-poisoned racist authority figures that growing up to become a cog in an infinite plundering machine is honorable life path. All it takes is some reframing… maybe some of them end up waking themselves up to the whole mess in time to, at the very least, remove themselves from the process and re-evaluate their behaviors/priorities, begin growing their desire for truth-seeking, appreciation of nature, personal growth, or just living in the real world outside of 24/7/365 imperial conquest mode

I do not know how old the original post is but we just deployed the marines on to a tiny island close to Iran which is responsible for the majority of their fuel exports. We are also monitoring the Iranian coastline and bombing it as needed. That does not sound like an invasion that isn’t going according to plan. Maybe it was a horrible plan, but it was the plan, a horrible one but it is working. Our boots are on the ground and will remain there indefinitely.

I think Israel was going to start this war regardless and would have dragged America into it one way or another and the result would be Iran blocking the straits at some point and we would still not have any way to unblock it.

But we could just stop being their henchman and shield but I don’t think that was going to happen under Harris. So yeah it kind of was inevitable.

Lots of democrats are critizing the handling of the war but not the reason why we’re in it (Israel’s insanity and our enabling of it). They should be trying to get us out and putting a stop to Israel’s warmongering instead of talking like they could do a better job at being Nazis than the republicans can.

Even before his mental decline/2025 stroke, Trump has no concern for the finer details of any military operation. He is profoundly uncurious, which makes him easy to puppet.

This war is the brainchild of fundamentalist psychopaths in Israel and the Heritage Foundation. Chaos is the goal, and the loss in life and treasure is of no concern to them because it’s not their lives or treasure.

I don’t like that I have heard a non zero number of people on the Christian extreme that are cheering this on because they think that is the start of Armageddon and Jesus is coming.

Playing out that scenario for a minute. They’ll be really fucking shocked when the Jesus that shows up is a brown hippie and not a white Republican in a suit and that by their rules, they’re all going to the lake of fire, not the rest of us.

That is literally the point of this war, that’s why nobody can give us a real reason for it - because the real reason is to appease the religious psychos who are excited for the Apocalypse so they can get Raptured, and sit with Jesus and point and laugh at the rest of us, as we get dragged to Hell.

But they can’t say that out loud, even though that’s what they told the soldiers before their first strike. We have to get some lame excuse, because if we knew it was to cause the Rapture, we might…

Do nothing. We’ll do nothing. We already know this, it was heavily reported on the next day, and it should be the ONLY story about this war - Why are we fighting a religious Holy War? - but the media doesn’t like that angle, even though it is 100% true. The media, even the LIBERAL media, doesn’t want to piss off the religious whack-jobs.

So we pretend it’s about all that other obvious bullshit, when it’s about two things: The Rapture, and stealing oil.

This. I just never understood people that piss on wind and solar and EVs and just generally reevaluating our energy uses pretend to be “patriots” by simping for Big Oil.

If we can become truly energy independent, we don’t have to be embroiled in all this stuff. Sure, Israel will still be a problem for entirely different reasons, but we have all these weird dynamics with monstrous leaders, and all because of the oil.

Yeah and then to panic and act like oil prices going up is a huge surprise is frankly idiotic. What the fuck did you really expect to happen when attack a country that produces 20% of the world’s oil supply and is near the energy shipping lane, strait or hormuz?

I think the pedophile actually thought Iran was just going to bow down and give up to imperialism after day one when they thought killing the Ayatollah was going to just magically win the whole thing.

The only thing he wanted is to show that he can blow things up (accomplished), and to have less people point out that he is in the Epstein files every single day (apparently working). I think that is why he had the reaction ‘some people are going to die, that’s what happens in war’. The complete indifference is staggering. He is a self centered moronic bully that just fucks things up and then just walks away with the ‘not my problem’ mentality.
