tl;dr He’s not just walking around amongst the commoners, he legitimately has a private army of some of the best soldiers in the world and the personal phone numbers of a dozen world leaders on his cell phone. He’s moves by armored cars, misregistered boats, and private jets and it wouldn’t surprise me to find out he has a handful of passports.

This is pretty true and a I love it.

For all the ills of social media the internet has been an absolute godsend to musicians and music fans alike. We can find genres and sounds in clicking around curiously that most of us just wouldn’t have ever been exposed to without the internet.

FWIW I try to purposefully spend some time “exploring” music on YT, Spotify, and bandcamp, and I go out to local venues a lot. I’m a little older and having a wide library of good music helps me feel “in touch” with the world.

My brother and I noted the propensity for some people born into wealth to be attractive as well. Braces when you’re 10 and a dermatologist when you’re 13 can have massive, lasting impacts decades later. Just a bit more invisible privilege those born to money get.
