The last free election in Germany the nazis won with 33.1% of the vote. Not even a third of the country. But once they had power it no longer mattered. I think he posts clearly ai videos by design. The other day that Chuck Schumer ai video looked legit. Trump posts videos easily vetted as ai, so his base believes that’s what ai looks like. Oversaturated, unnatural, glitched, etc. Now when another branch of the govt posts an ai vid as good as the Schumer one, his base believe its real. “I know what ai looks like, Trump posts funny ai stuff all the time. This didn’t looks at all like that so it can’t be ai”.
While I don’t doubt plenty in his administration would think of that, I have trouble seeing him thinking that far ahead.
