Trump creating allies across the planet, much the same way that Hitler also created allied forces.
It took too far too long last time and that cost so many lives and economies. Europe is slowly stirring. South America could (should) see the imminent threats.I think we’re used to the USA and its mass media not bothering to declare war, and simply starting war (bonus points for claiming the other side started the war once they counterattack, as is tradition)
The USA has started a direct military conflict with Venezuela, the state.
Trump is friends with the Saudis, and they bring in billions in oil money every day. He wants what they have, and the biggest oil reserves on the planet are under Venezuela.
He wants that oil, so he can compete with the Saudi Royal family. We are definitely going to war, and when we do, he will demand a draft. That will take control of the most dangerous demographic segment - military age men - who are in a very vulnerable position to be influenced by propaganda. Those that take to the propaganda are useful, and those who don’t, feed the war machine.
At this point South America needs to unify & form a latin federation. But first get rid of millei, then create nukes fast. Iran needs one too, but their fatwa gets in the way.
The global south has a kindness issue.
Some would say that when the USA is bombing the country, sinking its boats, killing its fishermen and stealing its oil tankers, war is already here.
American Peacekeeping™️
Except this isn’t a war, congress hasn’t
declaredauthorized it. This headline is shit and normalizing trump going full fucking hitler.Sure, and the Russian invasion of Ukraine isn’t a war. It’s just a Special Military Operation, right? If we just stop calling it war, there won’t be any war! Guys, we’ve solved world peace!
Except this isn’t a war, congress hasn’t
declaredauthorized it.What difference does that make?
“If we don’t label it, it’s not what it is!”
That’s not the point. He is officially a dictator by doing this.
Officially? Officiated by who? Obama was also officially a dictator then?
I think they want Trump to be aberrational and are trying to work backward from there. Just BlueMaga things.
LMAO, blue maga? Dude, you’re comment is insane. What does that even mean?
By that logic every president since Roosevelt was a dictator.
Fair enough and my bad, I misread your comment.
I don’t think Congress has declared war since Vietnam. Everything since has been at the presidents whim and been termed a conflict, police action or some other euphemism.
You’re right, congress hasn’t authorized it:
Captain America, things ain’t like they used to be like before you was froze.
war powers act needs to go.
War is determined by actions, not by Congress.
That being said, this isn’t war yet.
That depends on whether you are using the colloquial and international law definition, or the US formal definition. It’s only a war if Congress declares it, else it’s just a sparkling police action.
Sparklingspecial military operation.
Congress in the US has to authorize war.
You should be looking at the dictionary, not Wikipedia for the definition of war.
Anyway, it’s not like Trump obeys laws anyway, so what Congress authorizes or not will probably not even come into play.
Bush rolls tanks into Fallujah, bombs all public infrastructure, hundreds dead: is war imminent?
Is the bomb poor counties countries button close to the pizza one in the white house?

It’s war the same way me beating up a toddler is a fight.
Yes but without boots on the ground
Well, we don’t have US Army infantry… but remember that former Green Beret captured in Venezuela in 2020 trying to perform a coup, who then said he was working for the CIA?
https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Operation_Gideon_(2020)
A clownish operation like that certainly seems like the CIA’s modus operandi. They like their reputation as a very powerful and secretive operation, but also look at how many times they tried and failed to kill Castro, when a simple car bomb would have sufficed.
…that you know of.
Same as it ever was.
If the headline is trying to ask if Venezuela is going to be America’s next Vietnam or Iraq or even Afganistan, the answer is “no.”
