I’m not Russian, nor is Putin Russia itself. Putin’s party, United Russia, is the nationalist party, and the CPRF is its largest opposition that is gaining in support.
except he is not trying to do that at all i mean it would be more accurate to say he is trying to restore the Russian empire that would be closer to accurate at least but not really that accurate either.
He’s a hyper capitalist russian nationalist trying to expand his power and strengthen his position and maybe views it not as “his” but '“russian” power and position his thoughts don’t matter. That’s really nothing to do with soviet ideals or aesthetics other than a general nostalgia for being relevant he purposely denies soviet ideals any chance he has.
Please explain, the economy switched from public property as principle to private, and from the working class in power to capitalists. This is widely recognized as a transition to capitalism.
Other than trying to resurrect soviet Russia, nothing at all to do with it…
You are one of the most propagandized people on earth

Everyone who who disbelieves the State Department line is part of an ethnic slav conspiracy , and other copes for racists
The CPRF, the largest opposition to United Russia, wants to do so, not United Russia.
Putin is Russia. Your parties aren’t politically relevant.

The US being a one party state really broke liberals’s brains into thinking that’s the only possible political outcome.
Not even that, it’s straight up “L’État, c’est moi” but not even as hyperbole, for those people its completely unironic.

What would be completely accurate, then?

Capitalist!? Wtf are you smoking?
What exactly do you think occurred in Russia in 1991?
It sure wasn’t capitalism.
This made me laugh, thank you very much.
(it was capitalism, pick a book and read it. any book.)
Please explain, the economy switched from public property as principle to private, and from the working class in power to capitalists. This is widely recognized as a transition to capitalism.
It was and is, you’re dumb
What even is Russia’s economic system if not capitalist? Genuinely curious to what you think it is.
I’m genuinely speechless.
Please open a fucking history book.
