It’s pretty obvious to everybody that Putin is making Russia the enemy. He didn’t have to do that; Europe desperately wanted Russia to be a friend, but Putin had other ideas. It’s his conscious and explicit choice to make Russia the enemy, and he’s the one constantly talking about being at war with the west. Nobody else js doing that but Putin.

Russia was able to convince gov Abbott of TX to order the TX National Guard to observe training exercises in Central TX because he was convinced that Obama had ordered the army to go into Walmarts, turn them into makeshift detention facilities and was planning to round up people that voted against him in a hostile takeover of the state. Obviously, it was just a training exercise, but the fear on the right was extreme.
