I don’t think you’re doing atheist correctly.

I don’t think you’re doing atheist correctly.

I thought we didn’t have any talks, I mean, except the ones we were having literally the day before the bombs dropped.

What an absolute mind fuck this timeline is. We have a horrible regime attacking another horrible regime in the dumbest way possible and the attackee is threatening the attacker with destruction of something that will make the attacker’s populace actually happy. I mean… I … just…
… no words.
Fuck yeah! Presents baby!

Fucking psychopath.

Yeah I live here but I think you are only partially right. I was at a mall back in the day with some friends and we all decided to see a movie. They all literally drove across the parking lot rather than walk.
I live in the suburbs and despite riding my bike a lot, I simply couldn’t get by without a car.

TL;DR I don’t know how any of this shit works.
So when I left Reddit I wanted a similar experience, you know just the basic part, getting news from different viewpoints, cat videos, jokes, commentary TIL, ask Reddit, everything. I looked up online alternatives to Reddit and wherever I was had Lemmy as the top one. So I went there and when I was asked, I of course had no clue how to answer, so I picked .world because why would I want LESS than the whole world. I mean I didn’t see an option for .universe. Later, I was criticized for picking a shitty one by some random guy. So I went in the pullout on the side and couldn’t see any way to even change it.
I almost never post because when I was on Reddit and tried to post it was almost always taken down for some reason. Once I tried to post on Lemmy. I put it in asklemmy. It was a question about Linux and I was getting some really great feedback. I was delighted and sure enough my post was deleted and I didn’t even understand the reason. I think it said something about me not belonging to the instance. So I’m thinking why did it let me post in the first place and why did it let them answer and if it’s technically possible to do it in the first place, why disallow it? For, I guess some broken guideline? Just let it slide or maybe move it the the right place and tell me where it went.
I’m sure some of you will criticize me for not learning how it all works but man I just want to surf around and learn and be entertained and informed. I’m not looking to figure out a whole ecosystem. Some people want to take the whole car apart and others just want to get where they’re going.

What’s so weird about a gasket. What SHOULD be there?

LOL. I went to sea camp in the Florida Keys, when I was a kid. It’s like Summer Camp but it all revolves around water activities. We were coming back from diving on the reef. It’s pretty tiring to spend all day out there so pretty much everyone was sleeping as we headed in. The counselor who was driving the boat, noticing that I was the only one awake, called me over to the console and pointed at the compass. I kid you not, the thing was spinning around. I looked at her and asked. “Are we going to disappear now?”
And we were never seen again.

What difference would it make? If they are effective, perhaps they could handle some issue that’s happening currently. If they’re not effective, then who gives a shit what they do.

Ummm, and they’re tackling this pressing issue now, why?

Ours, and I assume you are referring to the US, is the worst and the dumbest.

Actually it’s happening everywhere. Australia, UK, Japan. It seems like every time I turn around another country is going right wing.

I’m just still so flabbergasted that this shit is happening. It’s all so crazy and stupid it sounds like a really bad movie or something.

Yeah my nephew saw that and told me the same thing. Gotta find that video.

Yeah, unfortunately Americans prefer to drive and get fat.

I was under the impression the some Christians thought they were proof that giants existed, a la David and Goliath.

Absolutely. They have bike paths and even little traffic lights for them. The city is huge but you can put a bike on a bus, at least some of them.

Went to high school in Berlin, my favorite city, and if I lived there now I think a car would be a real annoyance. Expensive. Narrow streets. Lousy parking. There are so many ways to get around: walking, bicycling, bus, street car, subway and infrastructure for all of those things. If you really need a car you can always call an Uber or taxi.
I do think that they think it’s a compliment. I guess they don’t have any women in their lives to smack some sense into them.
