3·8 days agoThis was actually the first time in about 8 years they made recruiting goals. The only issue is they had an abundance for the lower end jobs and much less for the higher intelect enlisted jobs. I think the one exception is the Marines, they usually make their metrics.
Yes, the military is overextended and “undermanned” in critical areas. I know for certain we are short about 2000 pilots and 3500 air traffic controllers in the USAF, but every branch and complex job is hurting for qualified people.

You might find an odd scenario of someone calling the cops on kids on a slow news day, but that is not the normal scenario anywhere.
Jews, Christians, and Muslims do not worship the same god. God in the three religions have different personalities, requirements for salvation, and wants, etc. They only share momotheism and early prophets, not even the same set of prophets. Jews achieve salvation by following the laws of Yahweh laid out in the Torah, Christians are saved through their belief in Christ and the sacrifice of God with repentance, and Muslims achieve salvation through the laws of Allah laid out in the Quran. Jews don’t consider Christians and Muslims to be true followers. Most Christians don’t consider Jews to be saved because if their soecific rejection of Christ, and Muslims have this half state for “people of the book” which also includes Zoroastrians.

17·3 months agoWikipedia disagrees with you. None of the other members of the Plaza Accords had an economic bubble. It blames the massive expansionary monetary and fiscal policies that lead from the Plaza Accords since Japan was now considered a major player in the international monetary system.

Why is camo worn in cities in general or why ICE is wearing camo?
Cities aren’t big splotches of gray. Wearing camouflage still provides some benefit when within cities. Also, uniforms are no longer just the pattern, these uniforms would also reduce IR signatures to not be seen as easily by nighht vision equipment.
Why ICE is wearing it? Surplus. The uniforms are easy to get and identify them as some form of federal agent. The alternative is a batch of one colour uniforms which would cost a lot or go plainclothes which I consider to be worse.
