Summary

Trump allies are urging the White House to curb Elon Musk’s media presence after his controversial remarks on Social Security.

Musk called it “the biggest Ponzi scheme” and suggested eliminating entitlement spending, conflicting with Trump’s vow to preserve benefits.

Musk’s cost-cutting measures have led to Social Security office closures and reduced phone services, sparking backlash from both parties.

Critics warn Musk’s comments could jeopardize Trump’s 2026 campaign, while Democrats capitalize on the issue. The White House continues to insist Musk’s views do not reflect Trump’s policy.

The White House continues to insist Musk’s views do not reflect Trump’s policy.

Doesn’t that make Musk a domestic terrorist who needs to have his citizenship revoked and be sent to an El Salvadorian prison? At least, That’s the Administration position when someone who is not a jizzilionaire expresses views that do not reflect Trump’s policies…

I truly hope we strap him to a SpaceX rocket and launch him to the sun.

It would be super difficult to launch him into the sun. Believe it or not, the deltav is much higher to go towards the sun than away from it. Might as well just launch him into space with no destination.

There was a comment that put it into a very easy to understand comparison. Now I have to find it.

Well, shoot. I can’t remember the community it was in. The commenter related trying to get to the sun like trying to get to the center of the spinning fair ride that pins you to the wall with spinning forces.

The math is pretty simple. We’re travelling at 25km/sec around the sun. You have to get that to zero to hit the sun. Getting to Jupiter means getting up to like 37km/sec (made up number). Way easier.

edit: I looked it up because it didn’t feel right. Outer planets move SLOWER the farther out you go because gravity is weaker and they don’t need as much angular momentum. So the math isn’t quite as simple as that. :)

Nah, he wouldn’t experience most of that. Give him a suit, set him loose in space three days out on a collision course with his tesla.

One of the biggest problems with this is trying to get the SpaceX rocket into space considering that the rockets prefer to explode.

Didn’t know jizzilionaire was a term, but it describes fElon more aptly than anything else.
