It did revitalize support for the party for a short while, primarily because of some progressive messaging, which the entire electorate (both R and D) responds to really well actually. But then the Harris campaign dropped that and started saying things like that they’re in favor of fracking, started bragging about how Biden kept building Trump’s wall, denying the affordability crisis, saying that the expansion of Israel is very important to the US, and saying that she would ensure America has “the most lethal fighting force in the world” (her words). And the funny thing about those policy positions is that if you believe that that’s the direction the country should be heading in, there was a perfect candidate for you, and it wasn’t Harris. So all they managed to do there is alienate democrats who are politically literate and care about things like the environment, worker’s rights, humane treatment of undocumented immigrants, and not doing a genocide.
You misunderstand. I agree Kamala represented everything the wrong the party has and still does. But there’s no doubt the vibes shifted initially when she first entered the race, and had successfully gotten people for a moment to think we had a real shot at winning. That’s what I mean by revitalize.
It did not last long. I do not sympathize with the diet-maga apologists who put the blame on the voters in a representative democracy. Hence:
for a while until Biden’s fuck-up campaign team got her to be almost as flat as Biden.
Edit: unless you mean it should’ve been Buttigieg and Shapiro or something. If that were the case, I’d kindly say go fuck yourself.
Is that what annointing Kamala did, revitalize the party? Sure buddy.

Harris was the result of Biden sitting out on the shelf way past his expiry date.

I mean it without a doubt did. I’m not sure what reality you were living in.
I’m glad you asked, I’m in the reality where Kamala Harris was the most unpopular choice they could possibly choose.
She was the most popular candidate by every metric at the time and in hindsight. So I can only assume its not our current reality you’re living in.
