This war is supported by basically nobody but Israel and Hegseth. It’s showing MAGA that trump is not America First, he is Israel first.
Iran is now using tactics that are shutting down airports in the uae, causing shelter in place orders, etc. Thats where a lot of wealthy tech bros are living under some now understood to be ill-assumed safety because fancy stuff for 20 years means stability. (It doesn’t).
I honestly think starting this war is Trump’s actual biggest fuck up, insofar as I do not see there being a way to salvage the cult. Humpty Dumpty has basically fallen off the wall. This won’t be immediate, but this was a massive misstep that I genuinely believe will ultimately lead to his undoing.
All the kings horses and all the kings men will fail to put MAGA back together again.
It’s a valid sentiment, but hard for me to support when there’s a tremendous amount of human suffering and wasted resources as the cost.
I’d rather have no war powers granted by Congress because we know trump will ignore it anyway… One more crime to add to his pile 😓. Of course, Republicans will probably end up passing something for him no matter what Dems propose or do, so kind of pointless to pontificate.
Oh don’t get me wrong I don’t support this war, or anything we’re doing.
But, I do support Donald Trump’s base fracturing into pieces that can’t agree on anything.
If you’re wanting to be hawkish on national security, maybe stop creating new fucking terrorists who hate us.
And release the fucking Epstein files and get the fucking traitor out of fucking office!
