Underwear offers a barrier that keeps residual urine and feces particals from absorbing directly into your pants.
People that dont wear underwear let their bodily fluids make direct contact with their pants, and then expose them directly to any surfaces their bits might touch.
Not wearing underwear is unhygienic.
Bruh, your underwear makes direct contact with your skin. Whether it’s pants or a layer in between, the result is the same that the barrier carries your pee and poo and it’s in contact with your skin.
This, exactly. What difference does it make if it’s your underwear or your pants? It’s one or the other & I don’t see a benefit to either unless washing 1 thing is easier. That hasn’t been true in over 50+ years. Just wash your clothes, ya filthy animals.
I would be more worried about sweat, I think.
Then again, I don’t even fart unless I’m sat on a toilet
Oh homie, everyone is covered in pee and poo particles every time they flush a toilet. Also, urine doesn’t just magically stop at the undies, it absorbs into pants too.
Humans are animals, and we are constantly exposed to pathogens and waste just like all the other animals. Wash your hands before you eat, and keep your food contact surfaces clean. Beyond that, don’t worry too much about all the incidental contamination you run into, it’s largely out of your control and knowledge anyway.
I see posts like OPs, and hear people saying such things IRL, and I always think, “This person would straight die in a week if they faced the most minimal survival situation.”
Eh, I don’t think it’s quite that serious lol. People become germaphobic for a ton of different reasons. I still have a really heavy impulse to wash my hands after touching surfaces due to covid, for instance.
Severe or unexpected illnesses experienced by a person or seen in their family can cause a lot of trauma. With the US healthcare and work system being as awful as it is, it’s not really irrational to be driven to being overly cautious. I think that as long as people aren’t having anxiety problems or compulsions that impact their quality of life, being a little too cautious like OP is pretty benign.
Not wearing underwear is unhygienic.
If you smell pee and poo, you’re inhaling pee and poo. Breathing is unhygienic.
Wait until you find out about the tiny bugs peeing pooping and fucking on your face all the time.
Using a butt plug will mitigate the poo particles.
I hooked mine up to the shop vac to keep things extra tidy.
This is putting a visceral image of my colon get sucked out into my head.
Thanks I guess?
my colon get sucked out into my head.
I think you have a different body plan than me.
Headass, what else can I say?
There’s poop germs on basically everything everywhere all the time. Life’s dirty and you have an immune system, don’t overthink it.
As a Brit, this shower thought confused me for a while as in British English
pants=underwear. That aside, I agree. It is pretty ming to go commando
Now I’m really curious. I’m not a native English speaker. If you call underwear pants, what do you call what’s over your underwear? Trousers maybe?
Trousers.
If they are trousers, what does it mean to “trouse”?
Opposite of dogging, mayhaps?
Would trousers be the proper word?
If you don’t wear pants, your wee and your shite get on your trousers?
Who hurt you?
