    So, they’ve been doctored and/or redacted to the point of not saying anything. There’s no way this sudden, absurd 180 isn’t a direct result of some degree of ratfucking.

      Let’s be real. He has no idea what’s in them. He just knows he has strong ties to Epstein and WHATEVER is in there it’s probably not good but Trump doesn’t read. It has been reported on that briefing reports he received have to be 1 page or he will throw them out or straight up not read them.

    Why do I feel like something is ultimately wrong here?

    I know one theory is that Mike Johnson was hoping that the bill would get tied up and die in the Senate and that backfired spectacularly, but this still just feels off.

        “currently under investigation” is the key phrase here. There’s a reason why he’s suddenly “asking” for investigations against Democrats regarding Epstein. It’ll give him the excuse he needs to redact whatever he wants and claim it involves a current “investigation”.

      They did a ctrl+h to replace “Donald Trump” with “Bill Clinton”, “Barack Hussein Obama” or “insert Democrat here” and think we’re too stupid to notice.

      I jest, but whatever is released will conveniently have references to Trump or his donors missing. They will release just enough to claim that there is nothing else to show.

        There’s always evidence of tampering. It may take some time but once found it will come right back to him. This is just all he has left now to buy more time. What he’ll do while that clock is running out is the next question. We’ve seen part of it, the authoritative shift.

      The full files have been seen by lots of people on both sides of the aisle and third parties. It isn’t like they’ve actually been kept under lock until now. If anything is tampered with, it would be easy to prove. As far as any repercussions for lying, I’ve got nothing

        Here’s their plan:

        1. Claim open investigations to not release certain files
        2. Stall for the holidays
        3. When someone calls yet another referendum or forces testimony in Congress again…stall
        4. Someone in Congress finally admits the files released are not complete because they have seen the the unredacted versions
        5. Stall again

        They will ratchet up all the bullshit pain they are inflicting on Americans through ICE as much as they possibly can in this time, and try and force Representatives to back off any further action until they relent.
