Especially with all the “Republicans are not in charge” talk Johnson has been spouting. Just start doing things, rules be damned. They’re not being followed anyway, so just start doing what you want to do.
Invite any Republicans who want to join in, even if they want to argue against it, that’s fine, just show yourself working. Either make Johnson show up and actually run things, or run things without him.

The thing about people is that they don’t live in isolation. It doesn’t matter if any one politician feels shame. They have families, they go out in public, and they interact with others often.
