Democrats in the Senate rejected a House GOP proposal to keep funds flowing through Nov. 21, while Republicans scuttled a competing Democratic bill with health care provisions.
What kind of a dysfunctional, mismanaged country has to struggle every single year to avoid its entire government shutting down, and sometimes fails to do so? Are any other countries like this?
Well, it doesn’t help that a big faction of one of the two major parties, the republicans, fundamentally doesn’t believe in government or democracy. They do not want a government that provides services to the public.

Not just every single year, but every three to six months.
Well, it doesn’t help that a big faction of one of the two major parties, the republicans, fundamentally doesn’t believe in government or democracy. They do not want a government that provides services to the public.
It’s only when Republicans control the House and Democrats control the Whitehouse.
At least, it was. Now the Republicans can’t even help but sabotage themselves.
The Belgians sometimes do weird shit like this, but not at the same frequency.
