    You make the choice based on the cards you’re dealt, not the ones you wished you have.

    You appeal to the electorate you have, not the electorate you think should exist.

    Beyond the election though, because you have more time, you try to change the game.

    Yeah, we saw how that worked with Biden.

      Unfortunately progressives are a very small percentage of the electorate and have proven time and time again they aren’t going to show up to vote. In fact progressives so rarely show up that they’ve effectively removed themselves as members of the electorate.

        Who is there for progressives to vote for that will represent their views? People whose interests aren’t represented by any candidate not voting for any candidate is entirely predictable.

        It’d be funny seeing centrists try their hardest to forget about the success of Obama and Bernie if it wasn’t so damn infuriating.
