Yeah my checklist goes “When did I last have water? When did I last eat? When did I last use the bathroom? When did I last sleep?” Then if those are met, we get more specific. Like “Am I upset about mother or husband or twin or cat? Am I upset about some specific news? Some general news? The general world?”
