Wow a little bit of math is a dangerous thing
Sub version tags make sense but for the the love of pie if you’re going to use a number at least separate it from the others, like 1.21-1
I like using the short hash from the latest git commit used to build, to avoid confusion among multiple devs on parallel streams
Minecraft II is called Hytale
See that’s totally logical, but it makes more human sense than computer sense.
Well I’ve heard all I need to. I knew Chomsky was kind of a prodigious jerk. He’s put out some good material in his time, but it sure doesn’t seem like he’s personally on the right side of of the child abuse “side” of the debate.

Ahh but you see they also revile fat people.

That would be tragic, but indications point to him being actually ideological

For once I would like to see the powerful people feel devastated

Eh if the behaviour is changing then I think it’s normal and good that the associated unit tests should also change.
Obviously you can get annoying with unit tests, but if they’re tiny and fast, and trivial to update then I like them as a truth check that the behaviour is changing as I expect.
Wow Amazon Prime and Nestle. I know I shouldn’t shame my fellow captives, since I’m sure I’m doing something that another person would find reprehensible

I’m hoping it’ll be like with the desktop ecosystem – as the mainstream mobile OSes enshittify, more people (and developers) will be driven to use (and contribute to) the linux alt.

Sure, but someone will without a doubt add the functionality. They always do. Seems to be the case with anything linux.

literally burned an entire morning because I have a shift that starts at 13h 🙈

Without a doubt. That’s pretty minor, considering I don’t think I’ve ever adjusted call volume in my life.

Like desktop level. Password protected. Encryption would be nice. As for reliability, I’m willing to put up with slowdown, waiting up to a minute to open apps, and maybe 2 hard crashes a day, if it means I get a fully free phone, or at least as close to it as we get now.
Yeah I was trying to keep the bit going haha
