PFAS compounds have been detected in literally the most remote places on Earth. Are you sure your spring water is isolated enough?
Either way, reverse osmosis (RO) filters remove virtually all the PFAS from water. I’m not discouraging you from getting 100 gallons of spring water from a VERY isolated source, just wanted to mention that there are possibly other options for those of us who don’t have the ability to get 100 gallons of spring water from a VERY isolated source.
It is in a very remote corner of the Northeast Kingdom that is far enough away from industrial centers that dumping wasn’t cost efficient. I actually lived near one of the OG superfund sites in New England, and recall the tanker trucks bombing up and down the road past my house - so when it all broke loose in the late 70’s (and all hell locally DID break loose - Beedee Road Landfill - recieved decades worth of industrial waste from two companies - Davison Rubber and Hooker Chemicals.) we were all… “ahhh, that’s what all that was about…” Then I moved in with different relatives, but have been hyper aware of where in the northeast - to avoid the water from.
(Do NOT drink Poland Spring water.)
I will always ask the older people who knew what factories and mills were where and what they made.
