Remember that taxes and spending are bad unless it’s for the police or the military. If it can be used to oppress minorities, then it’s ok. If it can be used to uplift minorities (i.e. education, food and medical assistance), then it is bad.

Now there was no war and Trump ended Afghanistan conveniently shortly after Bidens inauguration, and without a war naturally military spending went down.
I guess that depends on how you look at the military being stronger, are we stronger after supporting this thing in gaza? I would say no. We are stronger for supporting Ukraine, for supporting Gaza we were weaker. That is truth.
