I don’t actually. I realize those are school libraries. I just don’t care. Those are not private schools, parents can still have oversight of what their kids are reading. The fact that this is in school doesn’t change anything.

Honestly, I think most of ya’ll are just bandwagoning. I think most of ya’ll are just cowards following the arrow to inform your opinions instead of thinking critically about what is being written. You made up your decision about how to respond not on what I’ve said, but on the direction of the arrow.

We’re just saying it’s up to the parents to decide what’s porn and what’s not. No one is saying that kids have to or even should read those books. We just say parents should be able to decide, not you.

I literally have said that parent should decide. Almost everytime. Parents should decide, kids shoudn’t be able to just freely obtain those books. Those books don’t belong in a school library for kids. They can be in the regular library where parents can decide and allow what is apporpriate for their kid. I have never said “I decide what kids read”, I said “the public decides what kids can read in school, and parents decide what kids can read at home”
