Hundreds of thousands committed by DPRK during the war. http://m.monthly.chosun.com/client/news/viw.asp?nNewsNumb=200302100069

Just to be clear, S. Korea and the UN/US also committed war crimes, I’m not denying that.

As for what goes on in the DPRK since the war, not sure what sources I can offer that you will actually believe. I readily admit that the US is guilty of crimes against humanity at home and abroad. Can you say the same for the СССР, Russian Federation, PRC, DPRK, etc.?

The South was and still is under US occupation. Rhee led a fucking massacre on Jeju island against any suspected communists. The US and puppet Rhee suppressed any movement for independence and even today you can not express any sympathy for DPRK in occupied South. The military leader of the South is a US commander.

And by everything they’re doing today you mean raising the standard of living for their people at an unprecedented rate?

Can you give examples? Both for war crimes as well as examples of imperialism?

Oh, wow. Baited someone that argues about where Rus culture was born 1000 years ago and its relevance to modern events.

Couldn’t have asked for a better example of chauvinism.

What does any of this have to do with chauvinism, btw? Isn’t chauvinism about sexism? Genuinely curious.

Ok thanks, guess I was mixing it up with misogyny.

To be clear I’m not of any kind of Slavic heritage, just familiar with the history of the Kievan Rus and the purposeful campaign by Muscovy to take that name and then erase Ukrainian language and culture.

The dynasty that ruled Moscovy and eventually crowned themselves Tsar of Russia were Kievan Rus. Not sure how they’d ‘take’ what they already were.
