The only real hedge against that is to install rooftop solar
Doesn’t help people in apartments with electricity hitting $500/no in some seasons
Some states moving to make that illegal, or making you pay the electric company for not being connected
That’s atrocious.
Really pissing me off since I had hoped to have a few more years before financing a solar installation.
