KEY POINTS

Khamenei said the Strait of Hormuz must stay closed and that all U.S. military bases in the Middle East should shut immediately, warning of further attacks.

It’s Khamenei’s first public comments since being appointed as Iran’s supreme leader on March 9.

Oil prices extended gains following the comments.

You mean after we killed his father, friends, family members, and bombed his schools that he doesn’t want to play ball? Odd.

Who even knows what the real goal is beyond some kind of resource theft / embezzlement / bribes.

Maybe the israelis want generalized instability and a disorganized government and military structure so they have one less threat in the region to their expansion plans.

None of these goals are something that the son of a “supreme leader” is going to go along with. I don’t see this being a positive for anybody though, aside from perhaps the beneficiaries of aforementioned goals.

With this administration, who knows, but Israel and those under its sway have long wanted to do something like this. Remember John McCain, Mr Maverick-y McMaverick, singing about it?

Would not surprise me to learn that PEDOnald wants to personally enrich his crime wave of a family, though. He is that brazen and disgusting and the CUCKservatives stand by and let him do it. He should be in prison already, even before this second term, but the kind of janky shit he’s done just the past year should land him in jail as well as his failsons and his son-in-law, too.

My brother, who is in the Air Force, told me that they are telling them this:

The Trump administration has failed to explain the goal of controlling the Strait of Hormuz. If we control the straight, we will control the flow of oil out of the middle east for the next 100 years before China does. China is not going electric as they claim and are just as dependent on oil as the US, so they planned to try to take the strait of Hormuz. We had to control it first.

I love my brother, but he’s being spoon fed some straight up fucking bullshit.

Conservative media keeps insisting he’s dead, he doesn’t exist, or he isn’t really in charge.

There was definitely a sense that you could just decapitate the gerontocracy and seize control of the country at gunpoint, much like the US managed in Venezuela, Syria, and Libya. They had Reza Pahlavi all queued up like a next generation Ahmed Chalabi. It does not appear to have fallen out like they’d hoped.

So now Israel and the US are just bombing anything in the country that looks halfway valuable, pretty much out of spite.

Did anyone really believe that though? It’s been wide knowledge that attacking Iran would have been a stupid move given the amount of power the theocracy has. They regularly massacre protestors and don’t give a fuck. Theocracies don’t have the same limitations of other forms of authoritarians with a central head. Everything is laid out in doctrine, which is seen as higher than law.

This is going to be a war of attrition for the record books. Pure stupidity coming from this criminal administration.
