Sorry, were we talking about fascist capture of state power? Not sure what treaties have to do with it. Liberalism is not just an economic position, it has political dimensions as well. In pretty much every historical example I’m aware of, liberals happily ceded to or collaborated with the fascist seizure of the state. It’s happening again and no one has ANY excuse to be surprised. You sound a lot like someone who could benefit from reading Parenti’s Blackshirts and Reds.
