    Oh cars will get more expensive, but you think America will lean towards public transit? Auto manufacturers will just bitch and moan about how they can’t sell their $145,000 entry level sedan, and the government will just bail them out with your tax money.

    What, you don’t want to pay $1500 a month for a Ford Focus?

      Ford doesn’t sell the Focus anymore because the US hates reasonably sized vehicles.

      I’m hoping this means we’ll actually get a high speed rail line from Toronto to Quebec City sometime this century instead of just having another shelved study.
