I am excited by an administration that is the exception to the rule. We have a County Judge down in Houston who is a similar exception. After eight years in office during which she has been at war with the state nearly continuously, sued, harassed, slandered, and threatened with deportation, she’s done little to change Harris County in no small part thanks to opposition from within her own party.
A great politician, an amazing bureaucrat, a wonderful person, but entirely without the institutional support enjoyed by Corrupt-o-crats like Henry Cueller and John Whitmire.
that’s great, fighting the good fight. we need to be amplifying these type of people, showing folk that change is possible, showing the dnc that progress is actually important to us.
