Greene gives lengthy interview with New York Times days before stepping down as congresswoman for Georgia
Marjorie Taylor Greene, now just days away from stepping down as a congresswoman for Georgia, has said in her latest mea culpa interview that she “was just so naive” for believing that Donald Trump was a man of the people.
In a lengthy interview with the New York Times that examines her break with the president after years of devotion, Greene explained that a series of minor ruptures with the president culminated in a total breach after conservative influencer Charlie Kirk was killed in September.
The third-term Georgia congresswoman said she was watching Kirk’s memorial service on TV when his widow Erika said she forgave her husband’s killer. But then Trump took the stage to say that unlike Kirk – “a missionary with a noble spirit” who did not “hate” his opponents, Trump said he disagreed.
“I hate my opponent, and I don’t want the best for them,” Trump said.

Meet the 2028 presidential candidate lol
Between her and JD Couch Fucker, they’ve got a HOT bench /s
Don’t worry. The Democrats will come up with a totally useless ticket that will make them seem viable. My money is on Cuomo/Sinema or something equally atrocious.
Newsome and Gillibrand
Newsome and Fetterman
Newsom and Hochul
The only way they could pick someone as VP that is more reviled by nearly everyone would be to pick Kyrsten Sinema. Who started in the Green Party, by the way. Being affiliated with that party should probably be considered a red flag at this point.
Maybe Kirsten Gillibrand is nearly as toxic, for those that remember her when it comes to Al Franken.
Between Fetterman, Sinema, Cuomo, and Gillibrand it’s hard to pick which one is more annoying.
They’ll run a Clinton/Occasio-Cortez ticket for the bulk of the year and then change it to Newsom/Cuomo in the last three weeks. If anyone can snatch defeat from the jaws of victory it’s the opposition party we call the Democrats.
Don’t you think Cuomo would be just a bit too obvious, even assuming your conspiracy theory of Democrats trying to lose is true?
Democrats trying to lose is as much a conspiracy theory as gravity is the force that keeps you from floating away when you jump in the air.
That’s just dumb
Vote in the primary, it’s our best shot to have a fair one since Carter.
A lot of people are going to try and convince people not to vote in the Dem primary because of that.
That would require these people to do something more than just bitch into the void. Might be a bridge too far for them.
Newsom is the Next Man Up. Anyone else who runs in the Primary is really just auditioning for VP.
He’s certainly the establishment pick.
It’s not jd you need to worry about.
It’s Tucker and Owens
