What’s the laptop right now with the best “Quality × Performance / Price” ratio? I want to make sure every dollar I spend is worth it.

  • My budget is around $2,000 ± $500.
  • I’m fine upgrading the hardware myself
  • don’t need Windows preinstalled if that saves me money
  • at least 32GB of RAM.
  • Size: any
  • Screen: any

Basically, I’m looking for a high-performance, high-quality gaming laptop that worth its money.

Thank you for your suggestions!

What’s games are you looking at playing and what computer tasks? If its all fps then only GPU matters. If its sim games you’ll want a decent CPU.

Now is the time to scope out used Lenovo thinkbooks if you’re good installing Linux on it.

Businesses everywhere tossing them out now that win10 support is dead.

To better answer your question, well need to know what you’re using it for in general. Gaming? Coding stuff? Just a social media and TV browsing box? Creating or editing content?

Framework 16 will give you longevity and options if the idea of upgrading components down the road appeals to you. You can get it with a 12/24 Ryzen CPU and a 5070 Ti currently.

The more expensive it is, the better it will perform. All laptops are generally ripoffs. You know what you’re looking for already, just browse the stores

But there isn’t a good indicator for Quality × Performance / Price, I really don’t know how to choose in all those options
