If I remember, you couldn’t skip in the start. Remember seeing a patch note about how you are allowed to skip it now, but its hard to find.

I downloaded it many years ago when it was published (I can’t find it now). It is an actual gif but it’s very low res (and obviously it’s 256 colours) and very large, some players will fail to load it, and you can give up on web players

I downloaded it. It’s a 39 MB real GIF, 60 by 60 pixels at 10 fps. When I open it in MPV it’s pretty much exactly 1 hour and 30 minutes long, and I can skip around to different parts including to the end credits. Looks legit to me.
