This is just foolishness.
Its completely childish to pretend that if you ignore the current system, it will ignore you.
That is what you are saying they should do, rather than realize a magic uprising will not come, and change is slow and laborious as opposed to fashionable, pithy, snarky phrasing.
Thats the reality the other person understands and you fail to.
You literally cannot reform the system if you hand republicans wins like you have.
Reform is a very very long ways away, and is slowed down every time the democrats lose, and therefore shift even further right.
You have it all backwards.
Reform is a path to failure.
What you’re saying is that you’re a defeatist, because I’ve seen not one of you scoping up our boy big brood bonker. Just tough words towards the people closest to you on the spectrum online, and so it continues to look like reform will be the only option.
As long as you continue not to put up, maybe its time to shut up while the people looking for practical solutions actually discuss and act on them.
Keep dreaming about this magic future the people you’d like to pretend are all neoliberals are doing their best to make it for you.
I’m not a defeatist, I’m not under the delusion that a system thats operating exactly as designed can be changed. Voters have zero leverage to make or force change. You’ve helped train them to know they can do anything they want with no consequences.
Then you are merely ignorant to the many changes the system has undergone or live in such a bubble you cant recognize the changes that don’t slap you in the face.
Massive false equivalence/bothsiderism detected.
You don’t actually want to help, so you come up with excuses to do nothing while feeling better than those who do because your ideas all start with someone else moving first.
