Eric Adams recently argued against Mamdani’s campaign by saying “New York cant be like Europe”. Hes basically free advertising for Mamdani.
Im pretty sure a sizable number of people in New York wish it was more like Europe. That line of argument doesnt work on people who have actually traveled.
