The clip you showed there was what I was thinking of. I saw it as part of a much larger video posted by Kat, and I wasn’t sure that was the “throw” everyone else was referencing. It’s definitely that officer’s fault she went to the ground. He threw her laterally, causing her to fall backwards.
So she wasn’t “thrown” just thrown laterally? Wut?
“thrown to the ground” vs. thrown (really, pushed) laterally. Yep.
It may seem minor. If someone said they were punched, and you watched their video and they were slapped hard, you’d wonder why they were sloppy in the characterization. It doesn’t make slapping good.
