Sen. Susan Collins, R-Maine, was heckled and drowned out at times by demonstrators at a ribbon-cutting ceremony in her home state Tuesday, the latest in a series of confrontations between protesters and members of Congress.
“Shame! Shame! Shame!” protesters yelled at Collins as she cut the ribbon to mark the completion of the long-running Route 1 construction project in Searsport.
The demonstrators were yelling about cuts to Medicare, Israeli attacks on Gaza and Donald Trump’s nominees on the Supreme Court, video of the event shows.

At another point, Collins, said: “I have a suggestion. Would you listen to the suggestion?”
“Vote Graham Platner!” one of the protesters offered, referring to a Democrat running for Collins’ seat.

Their members only country clubs, which would immediately call the police to brutally put down any form of protest I’m sure

Oh no! He definitely did! He learned that whatever obvious dumbass/wing/deleterious decision will be backed up by anyone with an R in front of their names. I’ve gotten to the point when anyone mentions trump in a positive light, I immediately(and loudly) proclaim the person talking to me is a pædo or supporter.
I don’t recommend anyone else take this route as it cost me a handful of “friends” and a couple offers to fight, until they see me stand up.
There is no Republican Party anymore. The right no longer follows any of the tenets of the party - smaller govt, lower taxes, economic responsibility, family values, etc. The Republican Party is as dead as the Whigs, and should only be referred to in a scholarly, historical context.
It’s the MAGA Party now, and their core values are Treason, Corruption, Racism, Genocide, Incompetence, Misogyny, PEDOPHILIA, and much more. EVERY proud MAGA embraces all of these “values.”
Personally, I like to start with accusations of Treason, then move to Pedophilia. The 'discussion"doesn’t usually last much beyond that.
