If they weren’t easily baffled, they wouldn’t be republicans in the first place.
For ten years I’ve been telling everyone how ugly this MAGA movement is going to get, and all the while, people have been pushing back with “You’re over-reacting, bro,” and then it keeps getting as bad as I said it would, over and over again, and I still keep hearing, “You’re over-reacting, bro,” and I’m just so sick of it! When will people finally wake up and realize the gravity of the situation we’ve gotten ourselves into?
That having been said, you’re over-reacting, bro.
Oh, you mean he slams the very things millions of us warned about last year when he was doing everything possible to get trump into office?
Fuck Joe Rogan.
LOL there was never any chance of him winning it.
That was precisely what I was hoping the link would go to!
I wonder if axises will be considered correct one day, kind of like what happened with indices and indexes.
I have a reservation about the Y-value for “Hobbies.” 😁
Yeah it keeps the wrinkles out, but I’m in a damp climate. I don’t want mildew.
“…we’re making progress”
Let’s check on their progress. One of the major complaints during Biden was gas prices. One of the things I explicitly heard Trump promise to do was to cut gas prices in half during the first year. This wasn’t some vague statement that could be interpreted another way. He stood up on the stump on camera and directly said that gas prices would be cut in half in the first year of his second term.
The national average price of retail gasoline on January 20th, 2025 was $3.18 per gallon. Half of that is $1.59. What progress have we seen toward that $1.59 benchmark with less than 4 months to go? The national average price now is $3.17.
One cent lower than $3.18. I guess JD is technically correct. They’ve made progress. We’re nearly 0.63% of the way there, two thirds of the way through the year. Think we’re going to make it?
Surprised? Yeah me neither.
Dear Stephen: If you don’t like being called a fascist you could always try not being a fascist.
When my mom was in memory care, she would often claim that she was a victim of theft and demand that the staff get to the bottom of the crime. My poor sister would end up having to go over and find the missing item in mom’s closet or shoved under the mattress or something.
I think paranoia about being a victim is part of dementia. Not too surprising.

“Plotting” is an infuriating word choice.
I’d vote for her. I’m not interested in entertaining any arguments about electability. The least electable person in the universe has won the presidency twice. If enough people vote for her she is electable.
I would normally agree with that, but in this case it’s really the only appropriate response. Did you even see the absolute idiocy khaleer was responding to? I mean, WTF, LOL.

I’ve decided I won’t click on or upvote any more articles whose headlines contain the words “melts down,” “destroys,” “fumes,” “implodes,” etc. unless someone literally did implode, melt, emit fumes, or get destroyed. That pretty much leaves out Daily Beast.
