It feels like there’s reason to inflate those numbers both for Israel and Palestine. Do we know they’re credible? Genuinely asking, I’m not sure from my cursory searx.

Everyone basically saying that you can fuck yourself and should never drive again is a bit of a dick at best. It’s ofc perfectly fine to not want to drive. But if you do have to, or if you end up wanting to in the future, it’s not like this was your only chance and you can never again learn. If you want/have to get back to it, please practice with someone experienced in a calm and safe environment. Pay for an instructor, go to and empty parking lot, etc. Take as much time as you need before you’re good enough to drive in traffic again.
If you have access to a decent psych, they should be able to work with you at that. Like, figure out whether meds are right for you and which ones to try after a certain one doesn’t work for you, effect or side-effect wise.
To clarify: the right is the curls you create with heat, the left is after you carefully brush them out a bit so they appear more natural. So it’s a before (well, mid way) and after, left to right. Most people prefer the natural looking styling.
The officially changed it in my country to be an syndrome diagnosable in adults as well the very year I turned 18. I’m not saying it HAS to be because of me, but yeah.
20+ years of unprompted advice (as in, when it’s not the topic at hand, just a reaction toy body; your advice is appreciated!) and I have NEVER heard of this, thank you!!
I’m a little better these days. It takes a lot of mental bandwidth for a lot of time. I’ve retrained myself to just rub my fingers together or sth. Meds help to stay on it. Also lots of moisturizing, so 1) you get to do sth with your hands and 2) there’s less stuff to pick at. I’m far from cured though- managed to grow my nails out, but still get my cuticles bleeding regularly.
The psychologist who did like a shortened test on me actually recommended against going further and also getting diagnosed by a psychiatrist if I don’t want any official support. Just not worth a lifetime of discrimination within the medical system. I’m noticing it happening with my ADHD diagnosis. That one’s worth the discrimination though, since the treatment is a life saver (potentially literally).
Whenever someone suggests the ole remove distractions, I get reminded of that Rick and Morty scene that’s like I NEED TO GET ALL OF THIS SKIN OUT OF MY PERSONAL SPACE. Then the character flays themselves.
Thinking about it, if this were possible, I’d probably continue picking whatever is underneath.
I honestly prefer text over either of those options. Saves time and doesn’t over stimulate. Plus, if I lose focus I can just go back, which would be tedious in a video.
Last week I forgot to pay for one of the items in my bag. Like genuinely forgot that I had it. Had to pay 165€ for shoplifting.
Also: meds cost the same amount as my phone bill. Adds up, too.
No offense, but this post is sort of crazy to me because I’ve read a bunch of comments explaining how it actually happens, and id categorize all of them as normal results of critical thinking. As in, you could’ve answered your own question with some critical thinking.

Are you being paid by e.coli?
I was denied treatment for ADHD too, because I have a bachelor’s! Old psych said even a high school diploma is impossible for ADHD folks. Glad I was able to switch to a new psych who diagnosed me at 27.
Ok so I have autoimmune hyperthyroidism. This, among other things, gives me low blood pressure and a high heart rate. By ‘refusing to treat me’ I mostly mean that doctors have immediately jumped to the conclusion that my ADHD meds are the one and only cause, refusing further tests. Saying I need to go off the meds and if the symptoms persist I should come back. Even though I know and told them that I’ve had these symptoms for years, and have only been on these meds for half a year. This shows up in my file. I’ve also had a GP refuse to renew my prescription because he, too, thought I couldnt possibly have adhd since I’m educated and employed. I’ve also repeatedly felt like doctors think I’m just drug seeking instead of in actual need of these meds. Like, for example, being told that it’s irresponsible that I take them by a different GP.
Ooooh I thanks for clarifying!
Thank you, I genuinely appreciate that you let me know!
Guess I’m a loser for caring that doctors have refused to treat me unless I go off the ADHD meds then
Glad it works for you. No reason to shame others because different things work for them.
