ISLAMABAD/WASHINGTON, May 8 (Reuters) - A top Chinese-made Pakistani fighter plane shot down at least two Indian military aircraft on Wednesday, two U.S. officials told Reuters, marking a major milestone for Beijing’s advanced fighter jet.

An Indian Air Force spokesperson said he had no comment when asked about the Reuters report.

    Pakistan is essentially the cornerstone of Xi’s Belt Road Initiative from the last decade. It’s India 100%.

      Good point. Looks like my view is at least a decade out of date. Here I am thinking about how the West relied Pakistan in the Cold War while India was a regular customer of Russian arms exports.

      I just looked for some actual recent data; now with the Russian weapons export business largely dead thanks to their three day invasion, India is sourcing most weapons imports from the US and France. Meanwhile over 80% of Pakistan’s imports are from China.
