Summary
Two hard-line Iranian Supreme Court judges, Mohammad Mogheiseh and Ali Razini, were fatally shot in Tehran on Saturday.
Both judges were accused of involvement in the 1988 mass executions of political dissidents, making them controversial figures.
The gunman killed himself after the attack, which also injured a bodyguard.
Razini had previously survived a 1999 assassination attempt, while Mogheiseh faced U.S. sanctions for overseeing unfair trials.
The 1988 executions, linked to Supreme Leader Khomeini’s orders, remain a sensitive issue.
May the spirit of our beloved Italian plumber be with him.
I know Luigi is beloved but we should put some respect on the name of that Japanese guy (Tetsuya Yamagami) who built his own shotgun to assassinate Shinzo Abe and then when people found out why, the whole country was like, “Yeah, that makes sense.” and there were actual reforms.
Luigi allegedly made his own gun too.
But yes, there really should be a list of these people for us to drool over.

involvement in the 1988 mass executions of political dissidents
If this is true, then this guy is a hero.
If he waited 37 years to get revenge, I understand why he killed himself after: his life goals were met.
Imagine being driven by rage and your whole lifes purpose is to get revenge. I really want to know his daily thought process.
A little Luigi action. Love seeing killers get their reward.
“Currently, investigations have been launched to identify and arrest the perpetrators of this terrorist act.”
He’s more of a fair judge than those two have ever been. Terrorist my ass.
