Maybe we can work together with Gen z to overthrow the capitalist hell scape that has made a handful of people disgustingly rich while the world burns.
I feel like skilled trades seem to be where the demand center of mass has shifted. Welders, electricians, pharmacy technicians, CDL drivers, sonographers, RNs, mechanics, merchant mariners, etc. Here’s a list of allegedly bright outlook career fields: https://www.onetonline.org/find/bright?b=1
If I were young and fit enough, I’d look into enlisting in the Coast Guard to be an aviation mechanic. My cousin loved her job doing that. It’s the military, but it’s the only branch with humanitarian missions as its primary purpose. It’s more about search and rescue, pollution cleanup, disaster response, and keeping ferries safe for public use.
Canon fodder and stagnant trade markets with no apprenticeships. This is the glorious future you’re recommending?
Look for union work. The only way to play this game is numbers. Build unions, organize, protest, and vote like your life depends on it. Because it does.
If you want a future, stop looking for motivational speeches from people who live large at your expense. If you try to succeed on your own you will die alone. Link arms with your brothers and sisters and pull together.
They cannot stop all of us.

I never said it was glorious.
I’m all for a general strike if things get real bad. How next week plays out will determine the degree of badness, imho.
oh boy, it is nice knowing that I always have blowing up brown kids as a backup career!
Where did you get that from my comment?
