Former Sen. Sherrod Brown (D-OH), who is also the current Democratic Senate candidate for Ohio, found himself in hot water in a past campaign over his response to anti-trans attacks from Republicans, and now he appears to be taking a different approach.
Instead of trying to defend or explain his views on trans rights, Brown released an ad last week slamming Republicans for focusing on trans people at all, when there are so many bigger challenges facing the state.
Whenever we are talking about the MAGA boogeyman of the day, we are losing. Whenever they bring up Trans, or Biden, or Commies, we have to ignore it, and talk about Affordability, the War, gas prices, corruption, inflation, taxes, AI, Flock cameras, data centers, corruption, ICE, DoJ, FBI, DHS, SCOTUS, corruption, destruction of national monuments, healthcare, education, corruption, election integrity, foreign interference, white supremacy, Sociopathic Oligarchs, corruption, etc.
We need to control the message, not MAGA. They have plenty to answer for, and EVERYBODY knows it, including them, so make them answer to our charges, not the other way around.
And just laugh in their faces every time they say Biden. Humiliate them for their cowardice in not acknowledging that it’s all on Trump and MAGA, and they know it.
