Benjamin Netanyahu is under fire across the Israeli political spectrum for allowing the U.S. to reach a deal with Iran. “The state of Israel won the battle,” said Israeli opposition leader Yair Lapid, but “Netanyahu lost the war.”
what have you done to fight back? are you unionized? if you know where thiel lives my assumption you are from the imperial core probably holds, right? it’s harder and people are much less committed. western marxism is much less effective, and systemic change won’t come from just one person working for a few years.
though that’s not really how it works in the first place, we ain’t going to end capitalism by luigi mangioning a few random billionaires. it historically takes a lot of sweat tears and blood and that should be expected.
it’s not about proving yourself to me or anyone, i’m just trying to understand.
you are not forced to take on arms and murder people and work 24-7 for abolishing capital. most people can’t, which is why you or most anyone else won’t break into peter thiel’s house to kill him unless very specific conditions are met. the sentiment is clearly there though.
turns out real socialism works very differently than that, much more like helping your fellows and building community.
and yes, i know exactly how it feels not to even be able to find work for who i am. but our only real obligation is to persist.
your story is strange, but it sounds like you need to find your place in the world before finding your way through trying to change it. which is ok, i need to find a bunch of stuff for myself too. all humans are fallible and political leaning is just a piece of the puzzle when it comes to that.
then what is the problem? why resignate yourself to a life of suffering and the possible extiction of the human race, when so many people are still out there trying to make things less bad?
i actually want to hear about half the shit you’ve done.
