Tuesday’s runoff for a slot on the Alabama Public Service Commission has a familiar ring to it, with talk of data centers and electricity costs. But in a southern twist, solar power has joined the list of villains.

Needless to say, solar has very different impacts from a datacenter: it’s an energy source, not a consumer. It’s also cheaper than burning stuff to make electricity, so if you didn’t have a for-profit utility in the way, it could lower costs for people.

What sort of idiots don’t like solar? It’s free energy. All you have to do is use it.

These guys don’t like solar because you can’t charge a subscription for the sun. There isn’t a recurring cost that can make these dickhead billionaires more money, it’s that simple.

The common people don’t like it because they believe whatever the dickhead billionaires say.

Creatures that have been brainwashed into useful idiots by the billionaires to act like a human meat-shield against progress and advancement of our species.
