I hope Lebanon becomes Israel’s Ukraine.
Unfortunately most of the Middle East is run by US puppets, so Hezbollah/Lebanon can expect very little external aid from countries not named Iran. Syria’s current government would also (quite justifiably) rather die than give Hezbollah any support. There’s just not enough juice in Lebanon for a Ukraine. A Vietnam is absolutely possible if they tey to occupy territory though.
It matters that they hadn’t technically invaded Lebanon before (during this event), because now some people won’t realize how big of a deal it is that they’re actually invading…
Saying it happened before it happens is beneficial to Israel because it spreads out the outrage.
People are strongest when they all get pissed off at once, so a lot of propaganda is just to spread out when people get pissed off. Even if you end up with the same amount of pissed off people, it’s easier to manage than everyone losing their shit at the same time in the same place.
May they learn why they should have never crossed it once again
