The Republican ideals died out in the early 80’s. What we have now is the pure sociopathy of a movement without any ideals. It doesn’t really think, it just feels, and most of what it feels is fear and anger.
They’ve already shown what they are willing to do when they are defeated at the ballot box. All it takes is the slightest provocation and they march on the capitol to overthrow the government.
Winning in 2026/2028 is not going to be enough. The last gasp will be when the party is completely stamped out and outlawed, like the Nazi party was in Germany.
That’s a good speech. I really hope the republican party and its ideals die out, but I don’t think it’s going to go peacefully.
