Wake me up when they are removed and facing charges for betraying the citizens of the US.

I’d like to think that even with this gerrymandering, they’ve done their dash and there’s no way Americans would ever vote for republicunts again, but…… it’s America.

If the administration has shown one thing it’s clear that nothing matters. We are cooked going forward…

Last December: Texas has an unconstitutional map, but it’s too close to the election so we’re letting them keep it (changing would have helped Democrats.)

This fucking month: Louisiana has an unconstitutional map and so they must change it now. (changing it helps Republicans.)

Roberts: We’Re NoT PoLiTiCaL aCtOrS!! WAHHH!

It’s a damned shame that the American people have absolutely no recourse to take against the bought and paid for supreme court. The courthouse should be burned down with the justices locked inside.

Keep it up Supreme Court. Soon looking over your shoulder whenever in public is going to be your reality here soon for you, your wealthy friends, and family. I don’t like it but you can’t remove fundamental rights from people and not get murdered over it. So keep pushing. This only ends one way.

Someone needs to anonymously send them copies of Timequake by Vonnegut. They only have to read the opening of the first chapter, if I’m remembering the correct Vonnegut book.

Oh they know. (Deep down they know they are dead men and women walking, but are just deluted into thinking they may beat the odds. They already have beaten the odd with all the wealth and power.) Why do you think head dumbass tries to shift the narrative about the courts rulings. Chief Justice John Roberts has expressed concern about the declining public approval of the Supreme Court, noting that many people perceive the justices as political actors rather than impartial interpreters of the law. Dude is going to get himself and family killed.

    That’s painfully obvious bullshit.

If the logic is that interference this close to the primaries is a bad thing (which it rather obviously is), then the only sound ruling is that NOBODY - including legislatures - can do so.

If, on the other hand they’re going to rule that legislatures can interfere this close to the primaries, then there’s no reason why courts can’t as well.

But of course, as is the simple truth of this Supreme Court, their ruling isn’t based on law, precedent or even logic - it’s based solely on what will benefit Trump and the Republicans and their billionaire owners.
