    996 is illegal, and was restricted mostly to large tech companies. Modern working hours in China are around 44-48 per week, varying year to year.

        Again, the practice has been cracked down on, and was largely in bleeding edge tech companies. It isn’t the backbone of the Chinese economy, nor is it the norm.

          Plenty of people do, but i failed to find any polls or statistics.

          Its ridiculous to use a social media comments section as evidence, but there’s nothing better, so here you go.
