The Trump administration has launched a legal attack on the Southern Poverty Law Center (SPLC), raising questions about the future of other nonprofits at odds with the president. The center pleaded not guilty Thursday in an unusual case, one that accuses the SPLC of turning its back on its very mission: using a now-defunct informant program to funnel money to the hate groups like the Ku Klux Klan (KKK) it spent decades fighting. It’s a claim the SPLC strongly denies — one it says is “not even supported by or contained in the indictment itself.” It also has accused prosecutors of misleading the grand jury to gain an indictment. Rep. Jamie Raskin (Md.), the top Democrat on the House Judiciary Committee, sees the prosecution as a new wave in a long line of cases targeting civil society, an effort he said began with law firms and universities.

I don’t disagree with your thinking, just to be crystal clear.
However, how do you think this could realistically happen and be successful? Wouldn’t the military take over and slaughter the movement for one, and for two wouldn’t he then also use that to declare an emergency and shut down elections indefinitely? That seems like a recipe for disaster on multiple fronts.

@TheTimeKnife Can ordinary lawless career criminals, fraudsters like mentally even more nosediving Trump, who’s generally unqualified to take care that the laws be faithfully executed, & enemies of the Constitution, its Reconstruction Amendments acknowledging & proclaiming the supremacy of Diversity, Equality & Inclusiveness successfully launch & carry out “legal attacks” against role-model defenders of (theoretical) American basic foundational premise, that all men are created equal, and of Life, Liberty & the Pursuit of Happinesses?
I don’t believe the rogue, corrupt, insurrectionary & lawless un-American Trump regime will persist in the long run!
